Welcome to my Blog. As the blog name suggests, I fancy myself a bit of a geek. I like my video games, I have several decks of Magic the Gathering and I understand Sci-Fi for the most part. But don't get me wrong. I do have many other things about me outside of the "Geek" label.
I am active duty military stationed in the midwest and I will not deploy in the next few years. Because of that, I have taken it upon myself to try and finish up as much of my degree while I am here. I now find myself currently enrolled in a course about Interdisciplinary Composition. One of the requirements of this course is to write and maintain a blog. It may not sound so much like something I would be interested in but since writing may be voluntarily in my future, I think it will be a great benefit not only to practice writing but to improve my overall education.
